Coronavirus COVID-19

From 11.59pm on March 25, New Zealand will move to COVID-19 Alert Level 4. New Zealand is expected to stay at Alert Level 4 for at least four weeks. Massey University Student Health and Counselling Centres will remain open to their patients and clients during this period. To access services, please phone or email your centre.

  • Medical consultations will be provided by telephone in the first instance, and by face-to-face if deemed appropriate by a doctor.
  • Patients can request scripts using email, online or through the portal and are asked to advise how many days of their medicines remain and the name of their nominated pharmacy when requesting.
  • Counselling services will be provided by phone, video chat or WeChat.

Make an appointment

To make an appointment to see a medical professional, please call your campus clinic.

If you need to cancel your appointment, you must let us know at least two hours before. You can do this by email or phone. If you don't let us know, you'll need to pay a $10.00 'Did not attend' fee.

All Massey University students can register with the student health and counselling services. To access all services at discounted rates, you must register with a clinic.

Your Massey enrolment to study doesn't include campus clinic registration. You decide who your healthcare provider will be.

The Massey University student health and counselling service is Cornerstone Quality Practice accredited. This accreditation is issued by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, and means our clinics maintain the high standards set by the College for general practice in New Zealand.

Clinic hours and locations

Massey University provides student health and counselling services across its three campuses. Campus clinics are open weekdays during working hours. They're closed on Public Holidays, the Tuesday after Easter Monday and between Christmas and New Year.
