A. Our approach to developing study resources is evolving in response to the digital technology available. Increasingly many of our lecturers are now developing their study resources in a dynamic format directly in Stream (eg as online self-tests, podcasts, videos, etc) rather than preparing traditional printed materials and then uploading some of them to the online environment. This means for “Partially Taught Online” or “Fully Taught Online” courses there is no longer a standard “package” of printed resources at the outset of the course, as they are often developed over the semester and added to as appropriate for the course.
A. Yes, some courses provide printed resources automatically. For internal courses if this is the case your course coordinator will let you know and the resources will be available for collection from your campus Student Notes Distribution Centre. Resources for distance and block students are sent directly to you. You can find out if your distance and block course provides resources automatically. If semester has started and you have not received anything please contact us.
A. You can request the printable resources you can see on the site, when new resources appear you will be able to request them. Your lecturer may choose to release resources throughout the semester as part of their teaching.
A. Massey University provides this service at no charge to students.
A. Only printable resources will show on the print screen. See below for more information. If there is something you believe is printable and not displaying please contact your course coordinator.
A. Book resources and PDF files are printable. All core resources should be in these formats. If you feel a resource should be printable please contact your course coordinator to discuss.
A. As this process is automated wait times are reduced. Internal students should be able to pick up their requests within 1 – 3 working days. Distance students who have requested the resources be posted to them can expect them in 5-7 working days if not sooner. Please use the “Track requests” link in the button/block to track the status of your requests and find out when they are available for collection or have been delivered.
A. Yes you can. You can request new resources as they appear.
A. If you are enrolled in a distance or block offering of a course you can request that we post the resources to you. Your current address will pre-populate in the form from our Student Management System. You can update this for the request, but it will not change your address in our central system.
A. If the status of the job shows it has been dispatched or is available for pickup and you do not have them please contact us.
A. Firstly check the job request via the Track Requests link in the Print Request block and check what items you requested against what you received. If they are the same you will need to request any other available resources you require. If they do not match please email email@example.com
