Academic misconduct register

The Academic Misconduct Register (AMR) records the names of students who have been found to breach the most serious levels of academic integrity (levels 2 & 3). This record exists for three purposes:

• To determine that attendance at a specified course through the Teaching and Learning Centre has taken place.

• To identify previous breaches so that escalation of outcomes can be considered.

• To provide an internal quality assurance mechanism to monitor the way we manage the process both in terms of consistency and frequency over time.

Access to the Register is strictly limited to the Academic Misconduct Manager within the Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Academic & International). Importantly, to protect the rights of natural justice Paper Coordinators and Academic Integrity Officers do not have access to the Register when investigating potential breaches of academic integrity.
