Te Rau Tauawhi provides a wide range of support to all Māori students.  We know negotiating university can be difficult but if you have a problem, we are here to help.

Founded on tikanga Māori principles of whānau, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and mātauranga Māori, we have Centre offices on each campus and support co-ordinators available to help distance students too.  These are just some of the services we offer –

  • Academic support and advice
  • Course planning
  • Mentoring
  • Writing workshops
  • Postgraduate workshops on writing literature reviews, research proposals etc
  • Facilitating manaakitanga and helping students connect
  • Tea and a friendly face

We know that Massey has everything you need to succeed so please let us ensure you get the best from your experience here. Come and meet our team on campus or give us a call or email.
