In supporting the Government’s attempts to limit the spread of COVID-19, Massey University took the unprecedented step of cancelling all graduation ceremonies in April and May. To mark the achievement of those who chose to graduate in absentia during this time, we were honoured to acknowledge Māori graduates with special social media posts and videos. Massey University has a long tradition of honouring the success of Māori graduates with special Māori celebrations. While Covid-19 restrictions have delayed these celebrations this year we are now in a position to invite all Māori graduates of 2020 to attend events in Auckland, Palmerston North or Wellington to be held in October and November.
