“For anybody wanting to engage mentally and physically into a sporting lifestyle, then I would strongly recommend studying sport management at Massey. Through this course, I have gained strong connections throughout the sporting world and successfully worked alongside industry professionals…”
Through my study of sport management at Massey University I have been given the opportunity to advance my passion for sport. I had always been a sport enthusiast on and off the field but never learnt about the business and management side of things. With a vast array of sport-related papers, such as sport event management and finances in sport, I have been able to learn and indulge in this global phenomenon.
With this insight, I have applied many of the practices learnt, to my life on the sporting field. My experiences so far have seen significant impacts to the way I play the game with such a better understanding of the mechanics that operate to ensure we as athletes can play the game we love.
I knew all through High School that I wanted to work in sports as it has played a crucial role in my life. Once I heard about the chance to study sport management at Massey University and all it had to offer, I knew this was what I wanted to do. The reason I chose to study at Massey University is due to the specific orientation of papers on offer, all so relative to the sporting world as well as the practical experience gained from your second year of study and onwards.
