What is it like?

Graduates will have:

  • Understanding of theories, concepts and typologies of terrorism, violent extremism and radicalisation, and the ability to analyse options for response, countermeasures and prevention;
  • Understanding of the intended and unintended consequences of terrorism at individual, regional and global levels;
  • Ability to apply theory to the practice of counter terrorism policy, strategy and operations in the New Zealand context.
