In this studio course students are introduced to the fundamentals of drawing the human body. Students undertake a project of drawing exercises using various techniques and media.

Students who successfully complete this course should be able to:

  1. Represent 3 dimensional human form in 2 dimensional drawn space.
  2. Demonstrate an elementary understanding of human anatomy and structure.
  3. Draw the human body in proportion.
  4. Apply a range of drawing materials and techniques.
  5. Participate fully in a drawing programme and class discussions.
